Central MN Youth Soccer Association

As the season fast approaches the CMYSA board wanted to get families some information and provide updates.

Through talking to many family members and conducting two surveys we want to communicate a couple changes or additions to our program. We recognize there is still room for improvement but we believe CMYSA is working to improve the experience for athletes and families.

• In House (Rec) league will have games against other teams as well as continuing to have quality skill development sessions
• CMYSA is offering to pay coaches for coaching and will reimburse for approved trainings.
• There will be increased support and training for parent coaches
• There is an emphasis on quality communication from CMYSA including improved weather information and weather related cancelations
• Additional support is being offered to the referees
• Travel tryouts will be held between July 29th and August 12th with a second day added and goalie specific sessions included
